Doughnuts are sold by the dozen, other by two dozens. For Krispy Kreme in United Kingdom, it is sold in a humongous box that holds 2400 doughnuts. Yes, you heard it right, a doughnut box, big enough, even the bakers who baked the doughnuts can fit in. The box size is about 11.4 by 3 feet, when it was delivered late last week to a Krispy Kreme contest, the doughnut company announced the promo through Twitter, it needed 8 employees of the doughnut chain to bring it to the venue, stated by the Chief Marketing Officer at Krispy Kreme, U.K.

Krispy Kreme's U.K. Public Relations Director, The Academy, Gemma Vardon said, "I was there - it's a very, very big box." However, the box was not weighed, so the weight stays a mystery. But, if the entire box was sold, that would cost about U.S. $2.600, Vardon said.

Whose idea is this? Krispy Kreme Occasions is the theme of the Krispy Kreme U.K PR machine working in overdrive.
