John Travolta gay rumors continue as the pilot claiming to be the "Pulp Fiction" actor's ex lover throws more allegations, said a Daily Mail report.
John Travolta gay allegations resurfaced last July as the Hollywood star's alleged ex-lover, Doug Gotterba, announced that he will come out with a tell-all book by next year. According to the report from The Hollywood Gossip, the unauthorized author said it will include shocking details of his six-year romance with the now 60-year-old Hollywood star.
In an interview with Daily Beast, John Travolta addressed the gay allegations: "This is every celebrity's Achilles heel. It's just about people wanting money. That's all. It happens on many levels."
Doug Gotterba shot back and told Daily Mail: "John Travolta said about me in a recent interview is an inaccurate description of what our court case is about."
He added that his dispute with the "Grease" actor is "purely about declaratory relief and will be a non-monetary judgement."
"This is about the truth and my right for a court to decide who is telling the truth, not for Mr Travolta to make a judgement," Doug Gotterba added.
Contrary to Doug Gotterba's latest statement, Daily Mail discovered through a rep of John Travolta that the unauthorized writer of the actor's tell-all book has asked for an out of court settlement amounting to $10 million.
Doug Gotterba narrated to The Hollywood Gossip how John Travolta first seduced him during his interview to be the actor's pilot in September 1981. The 62-year-old claimed that said incident led to a relationship.
John Travolta explained to Daily Beast that he is aware of how his star status makes him a target for these types of allegations, so he "does not care that much about it".
John Travolta added: "Other people may attack it back more than I do, but I let all the media stuff go a long time ago because I can't control it. I think that's why it persists, to some degree."
