Rumors and unofficial reports point to September 9 as the most likely launch date of Apple's new offering - the iPhone 6. Many are expecting that it will be launched in an event in San Francisco. Obviously, users are eagerly waiting to have a glimpse of the new iPhone and buy themselves a unit. However, you may want to contain your excitement, as you may get upset if you were not able to have one immediately after launch.

Reports say that Apple reversed course when the panel it initially wanted to use did not turn out as bright as they wanted it to. The company planned to produce the thinnest possible 4.7-inch iPhone 6 with one layer of backlight film. This caused delay in the phasing for the release of the new models.

The delay surely caused Apple some troubles but the company is back on track again to ensure output quota is met. It has partnered with suppliers, such as LG Display, Sharp and Japan Display that are working double time to catch up with the delays.

So, iPhone addicts may ease their worries away. They just have to be at the front of the line to be the first ones to have the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model. They better be because the phone is expected to have a more advanced camera, super tough sapphire crystal screen, NFC capability essential for mobile payments, and a faster A8 processor.

It is also reported that Apple is going to launch its first large handset. It plans to release a 5.5-inch iPhone 6 model after the launch of the smaller model. This could be recognition of the fact that more and more users prefer larger handsets. The iPhone 6 will be available a week after the expected release of Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
