According to emerging reports, the long awaited Blackberry Classic Q20 a combination of an older model that also has new features has been hotly anitcipated just in time for the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. In a leaked video on Weibo.com, the Blackberry Q 20 was reviewed by analysts.
Lates reports indicate that the Blackberry Classic may be released as early as September 24., the Canadian telecom firm said. Blackberry Limited, known earlier as Research In Motion was experiencing financial woe's as the company was not to balance its books. The introduction of touch keyboards on the iPhone and the Android OS hurt the infamous Blackberry QWERTY keyboard, still the mainstaty in the Blackberry's upgraded form. However, Blackberry also has the optiono of using touch keyboards, similar to the Samsung on iPhone keyboards.
After taking losses from inventories, Blackberry and CEO John Chen are restructuring the company and its products. The Canadian telecom is going back to its roots with the Passport and Classic devices targeting the business user by inclding both touch screen and the QWERTY, an integral component of the Blackberry smartphone.
CEO Chen told airherald.com, "In my first 90 days on the job, I consistently heard from our ardent BlackBerry customers that the hard buttons and trackpad are an essential part of the BlackBerry QWERTY experience," says Blackberry CEO John Chen.
