"Nashville" season 3 premiered with a shocking twist. Rayna James was faced with one of the toughest decisions of her life - choosing between his old flame, Deacon, or a relatively newer one, Luke.

For those who have been following "Nashville" for the past two seasons, you know know what kind of history Rayna has with Deacon.

Not only was he her long-time flame, he also happens to be the father of Rayna's eldest daughter. However, despite the kind of history that they have, Rayna and Deacon are not necessarily in the best place of their lives - romantically - and together, according to TV Line.

So then came Luke in the picture. This man may have only been a part of Rayna's life for a short period of time but he has always been supportive of all of Rayna's decisions - both personally and professionally.

He has been that go-to-guy who consistently puts a smile on Rayna's face and who, well, helps her feel all sorts of happy feelings she never thought she could ever feel in her lifetime.

So when Deacon proposed marriage to Rayna, the mom of two was in utter shock. Around the same time, Luke offered Rayna a seven-carat engagement ring that she couldn't refuse either.

At the end of the day, Rayna went ahead with Luke's proposal, thus leaving Deacon behind once more. However, it is still unclear how their story will unfold because again, with so much history between the two, one wrong move by Luke could mean the fulfillment of Deacon's wish to be with Rayna and his daughter.

Meanwhile, other than the Rayna-Deacon and Rayna-Luke shocker, Juliette is confirmed to be pregnant. And just like all would-be mothers, she's more stressed than ever, the Wall Street Journal reported.

She suddenly decides to chop off her hair using nothing but kitchen sears and the result is amazing!

So many things to watch out for this season, including Juliette and Avery's relationship and Will's journey to success.
