Which smartphone is worth the purchase? We compare the HTC One X against the Samsung Galaxy S3 to see which device is better.
In terms of display, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD 720 p display as being one of the brightest screens. The HTC One X on the other hand, has a 720 x 1280 Super IPS LCD2 display, covered in Corning Gorilla Glass.
Forth hardware and OS, the HTC One X has a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, while the Samsung Galaxy S3 is equipped with a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor as both smartphones pack a whole lot of processing power.
Both smartphones are capable of running advanced versions of the Android OS. Upon their release into the market, these two came with Android 4.0 out the box, nothing to be amazed by, as they both pack quite a punch, specification-wise.
For battery usage and camera specs, Both Li-Ion batteries are pretty good however, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has the advantage over its competitor, having a bigger and better 2100 mAh unit than the HTC One X's 1800 mAh battery unit.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a great 8 MP rear camera and a 1.9 MP front camera, with HD recording and Burst Mode that, however, can capture only up to 20 photos.
The HTC One X also has an 8 MP rear camera, but its front camera has only 1.3 MP. Just like the S3, it is capable of simultaneously taking pictures and recording videos. The photos taken with the One X seem to be crisper than the ones resulted from the S3’s camera. For such high-end units, the LED Flash is obviously present on rear alongside the camera.
Users can buy both the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the HTC One X on amazon.com at $280 and $240 respectively.
