CSI Las Vegas Season 15: Are You Ready For The Sunday Premiere? Watch Russell’s Team Deal With A Bomb Threat Here!

Just a couple more days left before bomb threats and serial killers invade 'CSI: Las Vegas' season 15!

The longstanding CBS crime drama's latest season will finally premiere on September 28 and as previously reported, Finlay (Elisabeth Shue) will be put in grave danger right off the bat with a bomb in her car. The threat throws her boss, DB Russell (Ted Danson) and the entire crime lab into panic.

"Finlay must deal with a bomb planted in her car, while Russell gets a call from someone claiming to be the Gig Harbor killer," the show's official synopsis reads.

Written by Christopher Barbour and Don McGill and directed by Alec Smight, the very first episode of this season promises to bring viewers right into the action!

The CSI Writers' Room had alluded to a possible series-long threat in early June, describing CSI: Las Vegas season 15 as "super dark and twisted."

"Hey, did you guys want to do a season-long killer this year?" The Writers' Room asked fans earlier in the summer.

This season-long antagonist could possibly be serial killer Jared Briscoe, who TV Guide previously said will shake up Russell's life.

Although locked up in prison, bodies killed in the same M.O. as Briscoe's will start turning up around Las Vegas. Since he was personally arrested by Russell, the copy cat killing will baffle the crime lab supervisor.

Tension builds when Russell finds out that Briscoe has a secret twin.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar will star as the twins Jared Briscoe and Paul Winthrop. Mark Valley will also guest star as Detective Daniel Shaw.

Although they are prepping for a "dark and twisted" story, writers of the show also reassured avid viewers that it will also be a "fun" and "not painful" season.

How excited are you for this weekend's premiere?
