Joan Rivers news reported that PBS will be releasing a documentary that will feature the highs and lows of the late comedy icon and former "Fashion Police" host.
According to Joan Rivers news featured by The Hollywood Reporter, the star previously narrated to PBS how her career was first filled with "false starts and flops with audiences". The TV pioneer's stories initially featured in a 2006 documentary, entitled "Make 'Em Laugh: The Funny Business of America."
Today, PBS has decided to use those previous interviews to highlight the late comedienne in her own PBS documentary, entitled "Joan Rivers: A Piece Of Work".
One clip showed Joan Rivers narrating how she started doing stand-up comedy. "Those days, you told a joke and then you sang, you told a joke and then you sang - I can't sing!" she said.
Another clip showed the notoriously frank fashion critic making her usual crass jokes, reported by The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm Joan Rivers, I'm desperate to do well in comedy, so what can I tell you? For a job, I put out," she said in one clip.
E!Online was one of the first to report about Joan Rivers' news about her cardiac arrest. She passed away in September 4 at the age of 81.
In recent Joan Rivers news, The National ENQUIRER reported about the shocking comments allegedly made by veteran actress Zsa Zsa Gabor about the comedienne.
"Zsa Zsa was watching TV when Joan died, and asked what happened," said Prince Frédéric von Anhalt, the 71-year-old husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor.
Joan Rivers news revealed that Zsa Zsa Gabor allegedly shot back: "She badmouthed us all. She deserved it!"
The actress also allegedly added: "(Joan Rivers) is gone and I'm still here!"
According to The National ENQUIRER, the two used to work together back in the 1960s when Joan Rivers would share jokes to Zsa Zsa Gabor.
