The celebrity wedding of the year is happening, the secret is out, and George Clooney and fiance Amal Alammudin are taking it all in strides. In fact, it seems as if they don't care anymore who knows about their big day. On the eve of the big Amal Alammudin - George Clooney wedding, the engaged couple were spotted on Friday spending a romantic evening on board a taxi boat on the Grand Canal in Italy. The boat was, fittingly enough, named Amore and the two were not shy engaging in some very public display of affection.

Among those who enjoyed their company right before the Amal Alammudin George Clooney wedding the following day, included such good friends as supermodel Cindy Crawford, and her husband Rande Gerber.

The wedding party was apparently on its way to the Belmond Hotel Cipriani, where a dinner party was being held for all the guests. Reportedly, many of George Clooney's friends from Hollywood are in Venice to attend the big Amal Alammudin George Clooney wedding. These include Matt Damon, his wife Luciana, Vogue Editor In Chief Anna Wintour, John Krasinski and wife Emily Blunt, Richard Kind, and Ellen Barkin, who reportedly held a bridal shower for Amal in her New York city apartment.

Afterwards, a rehearsal dinner was also set to take place at this hotel, which is reportedly, very close to George Clooney's heart, and the actor had been frequenting the joint over the last 15 years, even memorizing the names of all its staff. It's just fitting that the 54 year old actor would choose this at the site for the big "lavish rehearsal dinner" for the Amal Alammudin -George Clooney wedding.

The wedding itself though, is to be held at the Aman Canal Grande, where the entire walkway, including the one along Grand Canal will be blocked off for the special ceremony about to take place there in the Cavalli Palace.
