Who does not know Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, James Franco and Seth Rogen these days?

People may consider Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, James Franco and Seth Rogen as this year's biggest comedy powerhouses. Divided into two comic pairs (Jonah Hill/Channing Tatum and James Franco/Seth Rogen), they have proven their mettle in tickling people's funny bones.

Do the successes of these tandems have anything to do with their chemistry or talent or both? Viewers will know upon watching them on screen. Here is how they pulled it off:

Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum

By now everybody recognizes Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum for their successful portrayal of cop buddies in "22 Jumpstreet." Having gone through high school twice, Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) stick it out together as officers tasked with going undercover at a college to crack a case (IMDB). Everything goes haywire for the tandem when they found themselves questioning their partnership as well as their ability to complete their mission.

So good was the duo's comic chemistry on the screen that the audience clamored for more - and their pleas did not fall on deaf ears, as producer Phil Lord has greenlighted the production of the follow-up "23 Jumpstreet," reported Latin Post. Moreover, Hill and Tatum are rumored to hit the big screen once more as part of the all-star cast alongside George Clooney in "Hail, Caesar."

James Franco and Seth Rogen

Mail Online shared that the latest movie team-up of James Franco and Seth Rogen is so controversial that the North Korean dictator requested UN to ban the movie. The film in question is "The Interview." In the film, the duo played successful entertainment journalists who were tasked by the CIA to assassinate the dictator who happens to be one of their biggest fans.

Viewers will be tickled by antics founded on anything and everything that could go wrong. But due to its political premise, it got into off-screen trouble when North Korea declared it as "an act of war." Negative reactions notwithstanding, the comedy opens in theaters on December 25.

Prior to "The Interview," the tandem starred in a "This Is the End." The comedy, which features them together with a slew of other comedians including Jonah Hill, revolves around the hilarious struggle of a group of friends as they face the apocalypse together, reported Pop Sugar.
