Reports claim that "Duck Dynasty" season 7 has just started filming.
Alan Robertson, the eldest son of Phil Robertson has recently spilled the beans, saying:
"We know we're locked in for at least another full year - through 2015. Beyond that, we really don't know," Robertson shared.
"We have recommitted this year - both our family and the network production crew - to putting out some really good stories from our family that we can all enjoy. I think this next year's going to be really, really good."
The reality show was feared to be cancelled due to a decline in ratings. When "Till Duck Do Us Part" premiered, almost 12 million viewers tuned in. The success of the special hasn't been duplicated ever since.
However, "Duck Dynasty" season 6 had an average rating of 4.3M per episode and that was enough reason for A&E to sign the bunch for another season. And as The Hollywood Reporter puts it, "Duck Dynasty" remains to be the most-watched reality series on cable TV.
"Duck Dynasty" season 7 updates from Duck Commander employee John Godwin claimed that the upcoming run has some episodes shot overseas.
"We've got some good things going on in it that we're pretty excited about," Godwin said. "We'll be traveling abroad and there's some good stuff."
Rumor has it that the cast has just arrived from an overseas shoot in Scotland to be exact.
Inquisitr reported, "Based upon the leaks, it's claimed that the Duck Dynasty Season 7 premier will likely be based in Scotland, where the Robertson family finds its ancestral heritage. Specifically, the Robertson clan came from Kinross-shire so that's likely where they'll explore their Scottish heritage."
