Conor McGregor's next fight may be at the higher 155-pound division at lightweight, as "The Notorious" admits to be contemplating on the move. The Irish mixed martial arts sensation also lambasted his fellow featherweight Chad Mendes.

Conor McGregor's next fight at the lightweight division has yet to be made official, but the outspoken fighter admitted that he is thinking about the move after belittling the competition he is currently facing at 145-pounds.

"The division seems to be full of rookies and has-beens," McGregor said during the UFC 178 post-fight press conference. "I'm just sitting here enjoying myself, collecting these checks on my way, eliminating each one."

While Conor McGregor's next fight has no schedule as of this posting, "The Notorious", who is coming off a first-round victory against ranked number five UFC featherweight Dustin Poirier, declared that he is willing to face anyone that will be put in front of him.

"As long as I show up and my check is what it says it's going to be, then I show up and I will kill whoever they put in front of me," McGregor added. "Of course I want that gold belt."

"Don't tell me that gold belt sitting up here right now on this table would not look great along side this ivory elephant trunk suit that I have on me right now," he added. "It would look perfect. I know Dana wants to see it. I know Lorenzo wants to see it."

Fellow featherweight Chad Mendes, who is the current number one contender for the 145-pound title, also got a taste of McGregor's trademark trash talking. The Irishman lambasted "Money", mainly for his physical attributes.

"He (Mendes) is a little shorta** - a little shorta**," he said about Mendes, whom he will be watching compete at UFC 179 in Brazil. "Whatever, we'll see how the fight goes. We'll be there and we'll see what he says when we're face to face, man to man. We won't be eye to eye, though. We'll be bellybutton to eye."
