It's been three months since the last time we saw Emily van Camp and the rest of the characters of Revenge, and now, the Revenge season 4 premiere date is upon us! There are several loose ends that need to be tied since the series left us earlier this year, and some of them may be answered in the premiere.
Nick Wechsler, who plays Jack Porter in the series recently sat down with the Hollywood news website, The Hollywood Reporter, to answer some of the more pressing questions left up in the air by the series. We found out some of the juicy details of the show, ahead of the Revenge season 4 premiere date on Sunday.
It turns out that there are big transformations in store for Jack Porter this season. He has since become a police officer after being wrongfully identified by Charlotte Grayson (Christa B. Allen) as her kidnapper. ho is still running the bar he owns. But Wechsler reveals that Jack will be in transition to do more police work this time around. His motivation? To make things right. "He's also trying to do a little of what Emily (Emily VanCamp) is doing, but from a legal angle -- he wants to right the wrongs, to see justice done, but he doesn't want to do anything illegal like she is willing to do," the actor explains.
And as the Revenge season 4 premiere date happens on Sunday, we will be able to learn more about the return of David Clarke, and what this all means for Emily and the rest of the characters. Wechsler talks about this return of David, in relation to his character in particular. "We don't know yet what David's intentions are, and everything is trying to figure that out... At first, it's exciting to see Emily's father return because Jack knows the significance -- he knew the guy -- of that return for her what that means for her. But she isn't ready right away to tell him who she is, and to have to hide that is difficult for Jack. If he turns out to be dangerous, he could be a danger to Jack, especially, with him being a cop."
As for Conrad being really dead, Wechsler has this to say, "I'm pretty sure he's dead."
