"Revenge" has officially kicked off its fourth season and now is the best time to catch up on the series if you haven't followed it just yet.

Not only did the producers of the show give audiences a chance to backtrack on what has been happening the past three seasons, fans were also given a bit of a refresher course.

It's not even surprising at all to find that the once very powerful and manipulative Victoria is now completely powerless.

Her son, Daniel, who once had so much power in his hands is now penniless. Emily remains to be on top of everyone else, thanks to his good friend Nolan.

The first episode for the season opened with Victoria trying to make a new ally. It is unsure how her new partnership with Chez Thorne would help her throughout the entire season.

Emily's father is officially alive and if you've completed season 3, you would have relatively high expectations that he will show himself to Emily immediately when season 4 opens.

However, this is not what happened. David was nowhere in sight and "Revenge's" executive producer Sunil Nayar previously explained to TV Line that they will be "rolling him out pretty slowly."

Smart move for the show but this also means fans have to wait a little longer.

One big twist this season has to do with Jack who is now working as a cop. According to the good guy, he wants to get a badge after Amanda was killed.

During one meaningful conversation between Jack and Emily, the former explained to the latter, "Conrad had the cops in his pocket. I knew that if I became a cop, no one could pay me off."

This season will also welcome some new characters on the hit series that fans need to watch out for and knowing "Revenge" they will most likely play a huge part in solving the mystery behind each of the old character's lives.
