A few weeks ago, Will Ferrell confirmed that he will return in "Zoolander 2" as Jacobim Mugatu. His character was the one responsible for brainwashing Derek Zoolander, a dimwit male model played by Ben Stiller. Hearing the former "Saturday Night Live" host talk about the sequel of the 2001 comedy got many fans excited.

Joblo.com reported Will Ferrell saying, "We are actually supposed to do a read-through of a sequel script soon, and Mugatu is a part of it." The 47-year old comedian will be joining the main stars of the movie, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson (Hansel).

Apart from Will Ferrell, another famous celebrity is reportedly being wooed by the producers to join the "Zoolander 2" cast. I'm sure you're curious who this person is so we won't keep you waiting. Huffingtonpost reported that Lady Gaga is in negotiation for a role in the sequel. The Sun announced that the "Poker Face" hitmaker has been offered a $4.8 million deal by actor and film producer Ben Stiller.

A source told the website, "Gaga is top of their wish-list. She has the talent and attitude - and an amazing sense of humor." The 28-year old diva has already crossed over from singing to acting. She has appeared in several films in the past including "Machete Kills" and "Muppets Most Wanted". Lady Gaga has also proven to everyone that she can definitely act in recently released film "Sin City: A Dame To Kill For".

Owen Wilson is a huge fan of the "Bad Romance" singer and he revealed how much he wanted Gaga in "Zoolander 2". He told MTV News, "She has to be in it". He added, "She definitely could be ... maybe she makes a good foil for Hansel." The 45-year old actor's comment could have ignited the Lady Gaga casting rumors. Ben Stiller tried to end the rumor by posting on Twitter: "Zoolander LadyGaga story is not true. Weird that OK magazine would print something untrue. Weird to read a made up story on the internet."

Too bad we won't be seeing Lady Gaga in "Zoolander 2", but there is still hope since they haven't started filming yet. Do you think she will make a cameo in the sequel?
