"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars Teresa and Joe Giudice are getting sentenced tomorrow at 10 a.m. EST.
The sentencing can change the future of the couple as well as that of their four young daughters.
Teresa and Joe Giudice reportedly admitted to hiding assets from bankruptchy creditors and submitting fake loan applications to get $5 million in mortgage loans, according to All About RH. Depending on the sentencing tomorrow morning, each could reportedly get prison time while Joe might even get deported back to Italy.
"They know a worst case, but don't know what's going to happen, and it's terrifying and they're scared," stated the couple's crisis manager Wendy Feldman.
Along with their other charges, Joe Giudice reportedly pleaded guilty to not filing a 2004 tax return and agreed in the plea that he owes the Internal Revenue Service $224,211 for the income that he didn't report between 2000 and 2008, according to the media outlet All About The Tea.
Joe's acceptance of the plea deal could reportedly result in a lessened sentence for Teresa.
"Joe did what was right in this particular case. He proved himself to be a a great husband and a great father, and he, in fact, entered the plea without hesitation because it was believed that this would help his wife. We ask that justive be tempered with mercy," stated Miles Feinstein, Joe's attorney.
In the midst of her sentencing, Teresa made a statement to People magazine regarding her past mistakes.
"Today I took responsibiliy for a series of mistakes I made several years ago. I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family. Especially my four young daughters, who mean more to me than anything in the world. I have said throughout that I respect the legal process and thus, I intend to address the court directly at sentencing, she said in her statement. I will describe the choices I made, continue to take responsibility for my decision and express my remorse to Judge Salas and the public," stated Teresa Giudice.
