As the screening in December draws near and near, we now have the fourth and last trailer from the exciting new space exploration movie from Christopher Nolan. The Dark Knight director has done a superb job of keeping everyone in the dark about the exact plot of this new movie, and the Interstellar trailers are able to both excite movie goers, but the same time, keep them guessing about the movie.

In any case, here's what we can conclude from the very cryptic Interstellar trailer that has just been released. The world is coming to an end, crops are drying up and dust storms are threatening to engulf the entire earth. Enter Matthew MConaughey's character, is the one who could possibly be the key to saving the planet. He embarks on a journey across space (and possibly time), leaving his two kids behind. The goal of this quest is to find an inhabitable planet for the people on earth to live in, and start anew. In fact, Michael Caine (a Nolan favorite), tells McConaughey, "Your daughter's generation will be thelast to survive on the earth. You're the best pilot we ever had. Get out there and save the world."

There are plenty of startlingly beautiful images that Christopher Nolan has in store in this movie. And there are several delightful little touches debuted in this new Interstellar trailer that make us all the more excited to see the entire film. For example, there is a small robot called TARS that is shown to be following Matthew McConaghey's character, something that was alluded to in the previous versions of the trailer. There's also that awesome sequence of the space craft that McConaughey and company are riding, as it blasts off into a wormhole. And the best part about Interstellar, is that all the elements of the film are based on hard science. In fact, the science of the movie is based on the studies on the subject of time travel and wormholes by astrophysicist Kip Thorne. Thorne himself, is actually a consultant on the film.
