People got excited when they found out that Jeremy Renner is returning for "Mission Impossible 5". Last September 12, the 43-year old actor posted a photo of himself together with Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames on Twitter. He captioned the image, "Big day on MI5. The BOYS ARE BACK!!! Good day gents."

Jeremy Renner is one of the busiest actors in Hollywood today that's why fans were really happy when he decided to do another "Mission Impossible" movie. He just finished filming "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" and his next project will be "The Bourne Betrayal". Gladly, he was able to squeeze in "Mission: Impossible 5" to his busy schedule.

Before Jeremy Renner became known as William Brandt in "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol", the actor needed a lot of convincing to accept the role. During an interview with MTV News, the screen heartthrob revealed the person who got him to say "yes" to the movie deal.

Renner admitted that it was film producer J.J. Abrams that arranged an impromptu meeting with Tom Cruise. The producer kept on asking him what he thought of "Mission: Impossible" then he asked him if he wanted to meet Tom right now so the two drove to Paramount where the actor that play Ethan Hunt was filming.

They chatted for 10 minutes and the 52-year old actor told Renner: "You got to do this movie, there's no script... You got to do this movie." The "Avengers 2" star revealed, "It was a strange experience and an interesting meeting." He left J.J. Abrams and Tom Cruise without accepting their offer yet.

Jeremy Renner told MTV, "And by the time I get home on my motorcycle, I get off my helmet, and the phone rings, and it's Tom calling me at my house." He said, "I'm like, 'That's weird, Tom Cruise is calling me at home.' So he's like, 'Are we doing this? Come on, are we doing it?' So then all of a sudden I'm signed on to do three Mission: Impossible movies with Tom."

J.J. Abrams is a smart guy because he knows no one can turn down Tom Cruise. Since "Mission Impossible 5" is only Jeremy Renner's second movie, then we can expect him to star in another MI film in the future. Watch MTV's interview with the actor:
