'The Chaser''s Baek Hong Suk (played by Son Hyun Joo) even resorted to kidnapping Seo Ji Soo (played by Kim Sung Ryung), yet Kang Dong Yoon (played by Kim Sang Joong) has yet again escaped.
In the seventh episode of SBS Monday-Tuesday drama 'The Chaser' that aired on the 18th, Baek Hong Suk yet again became a fugitive on the run.
Baek Hong Suk discovers Seo Ji Soo's agenda for the day by acquiring Seo Ji Won's cell phone. Targeting Seo Ji Soo's massage session, he plots to kidnap her with the help of Detective Jo (played by Park Hyo Joo).
Seizing Seo Ji Soo's driver and taking his clothes, Baek Hong Suk grabs Seo Ji Soo, saying he is arresting her, and demands to Kang Dong Yoon that he "reveal everything in the evening news." In response to the development of events, Kang Dong Yoon goes to President Seo (played by Park Geun Hyung), only to have him coldly reject his son-in-law, saying "Ji Soo is not my daughter. She is your wife."
An infuriated Kang Dong Yoon calls Seo Ji Soo to let her know of his father-in-law's betrayal, and the upset Seo Ji Soo tells him where the minutes recording the pay increases are. Ignoring Baek Hong Suk's demand, Kang Dong Yoon plans to use the minutes to blackmail and control President Seo.
Upon seeing on TV that Kang Dong Yoon is about to make an important announcement, Baek Hong Suk mistakenly thinks that the situation is over and calls Detective Hwang (played by Kang Shin Il), telling him "You can take me in now." However, Kang Dong Yoon's announcement turns out to be about Hanoh Group's minutes.
An astonished Baek Hong Suk is then attacked by Kang Dong Yoon's men, making the protagonist a fugitive once more.
