Lindsay Lohan news reported that the actress is trying to convince "Saturday Night Live's" Tina Fey to do a "Mean Girls" sequel.

Huffington Post reported that the hit teen flick celebrated its 10th anniversary last April. When its lead star Lindsay Lohan "wasn't available to comment" to news, many thought she was not interested in reviving the movie.

However, Lindsay Lohan news reported by Time Out London said the actress has even pitched the sequel's plot to its SNL alum producer.

The 28-year-old actress said: "I was with Tina Fey ['Mean Girls' writer] the other day and I said we should do another 'Mean Girls,' like an older version where they're all housewives and they're all cheating."

"That would be really funny. I'll harass Tina to write it," Lindsay Lohan told the news publication.

She added: "People really love the movie: how do you top that?"

Lindsay Lohan's interest to return to movies came after the "Speed The Plow" actress reportedly forgot her lines during the opening night of her West End debut.

According to a review from The New York Daily News, the former child star "fumbled for words a few times".

The Lindsay Lohan news narrated in detail: "Looking pale and nervous, Lohan managed to hang on through her small but critical role as Hollywood secretary Karen - but only with the aid of some crew members offstage who shouted lines at her when she blanked on what she was supposed to say."

The New York Daily News added: "(Lindsay Lohan) seemed to rely on a book she clutched as a prop that had some lines from the script scribbled in it."

A similar review was reported by The Daily Beast: "Lindsay Lohan only has one major speech in the David Mamet play that marks her West End debut. Unfortunately, she couldn't remember how it went."

The mostly negative reviews came even after Daily Mail has revealed the actress' conscious efforts to turn away from her partying ways.

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly admitted that her decision to focus on work is also because she is "very nervous" about her stage debut, which she says is far from her "comfort zone" as a movie actress.

"I've been acting since I was a child, but this is something completely different and out of my comfort zone," Lindsay Lohan admitted.
