Taylor Swift can add another skill to her already very long resume.
The "Shake It Off" singer is joining the team of "The Voice," according to the website Today.com.
"Seven-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift is going to act as the sole mentor for all of our teams during the knock-out round," stated TODAY's Carson Daly, who also hosts the singing competition.
Daly continued, "We're happy to have her."
News of Taylor Swift joining "The Voice" surfaces as the country singer has totally changed the style and content of her music, according to CNN. She used to pen sad love songs, including "Dear John," and now she's "making up the moves as she goes" in the music video for her new single, "Shake It Off," which has already gathered over 14 million views.
The changes in Swift's music can also be credited to the single life that she's currently leading, the details of which she revealed in the cover story of British Vogue.
"Dating or finding someone is the last thing on my mind, because I can't picture how it could work with the way my life is," stated Swift.
She added, "I don't know how a guy is supposed to walk next to his girlfriend when there are 20 men with cameras, and he can't protect his girlfriend because that's the life she chose. I just don't see how it could work, so I don't think about it, and I kind of run from it when it presents itself."
