Every time Apple launches a product, people get a little crazy and would do crazy things just to be one of the lucky few to first get their hands on it. The launch of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus was a major hit among consumers again. This success is expected to be repeated with the rumored launch of the new iPad 2014, and the details are supposed to be revealed at a special event by Apple this October 16. The new line of iPads are expected to be showcased here, with the specs and all features detailed here. Rumors also say that that the new iPad Air 2014 could be launched here as well.
Aside from the new iPad 2014, iMacs with a new retina display could be showcased on the October 16 special event as well. In any case, it would be high time for Apple to launch its new iPad line given that there is some extra competition in the market. Recently, Amazon confirmed their new tablets and e-readers that are set to be launched soon.
Recently, Apple's release of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus was such a big boon to the company. Reportedly, they are setting staggering sales records with the launch of these two new smart phones. Apple says that more than 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were sold in just three days after it was launched. This data is remarkable if you take into consideration that the new iPhone models have not even been made available in China yet, which is one of Apple's largest markets.
Even with the issue of the new iPhones being "bendable," with several viral videos and photos already making the rounds, people are still fans of the product. "Sales for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations for the launch weekend, and we couldn't be happier," says Tim Cook, Apple's CEO.
