"G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation" left a cliff-hanger scene to moviegoers if the character of Channing Tatum is really dead.
Now, "G.I. Joe 3" is confirmed in the works and it is officially announced to be released in 2016 as per Movie Web's report. Will the upcoming installment answer the mystery if "22 Jumpstreet" actor, Channing Tatum character Duke Hauser is really dead?
According to Screen Rant, Dwayne Johnson, who's also reported joining Shazam film will also reprise his role for "G.I Joe 3"
The publication cited Deadline, which repored that Paramount and MGM are currently finalizing a deal with Chu to direct "G.I. Joe 3".
The film will be filmed in 3D format according to IBtimes. The publication cited statement of Chu with the interview of MYV.
"You never know, Storm Shadow died in the first one and came back in the second one, and then other characters have died and never come back. The G.I. Joe world, the best thing about it is you never know who's coming back and who's not."
Movie Web has posted the summary plot of 3rd installment of the film which reads,
"The battle against C.O.B.R.A. continues in this third installment of the popular Hasbro franchise based on the comic book and cartoon series from the 80s."
