There's a new Lady Antebellum fan club news update.
People reported that Lady Antebellum surprised fan, Alexis Wonais, by singing "I Run To You" to their dedicated fan. Alexis was on her way to eat out with her fiancé, Jordan Myers, to a restaurant in Perry, Georgia, last Saturday, when the group stopped the couple to sing a sweet song for them.
Lady Antebellum's fan club news got even more exciting as the band gave out invites to the newlywed couple to their upcoming show. Additionally, Lady Antebellum offered to treat the couple to a Mexican honeymoon good for five nights. What's more, the band also offered to shoulder the expenses for getting the wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses made for the nuptials!
The new Lady Antebellum fan club mission is all part of an efforts made through a project called, "7For7." People reported that the project aimed to make 7 wishes of 7 fans come true in seven days, across the United States. The mission is implemented in time for the launch of the group's upcoming album, "747."
Alexis' fiancée, Jordan Myers, sent a moving letter to Lady Antebellum's fan mail. The letter touched the group's heart, and compelled them to do something nice for the couple.
In his letter, Myers wrote the following, as reported in People:
"Alexis is my fiancée and we just got engaged last month."
"Music has always been very important to us. I actually sang a song to her on a bridge at sunset as we overlooked this river in the backwoods of Michigan as my proposal. She's a big Lady A fan, so I surprised her with tickets to the We Own the Night concert a couple years ago and she absolutely loved it."
"One of our favorite things to do together is to sing 'I Run to You' together when we are driving in the car. She has been very stressed out with family and work issues recently and I've always told her that when life gets stressful and overwhelming, she will always have me to run to. She is the love of my life and I couldn't think of anyone more deserving of this surprise than her."
