Diem from "The Challenge" has to fight yet another battle after blockage in his kidneys were discovered while she was dealing with her third bout of cancer.
PEOPLE.com reported that the MTV was hospitalized in New York City on Thursday after doctors discovered a blockage in her kidneys right when she was scheduled to start chemotherapy two days prior. Diem, 32, found out that she was diagnosed with cancer for the third time in mid-August, according to the report.
"I was so frustrated that it seems my body keeps throwing me curve balls over and over," she told PEOPLE. "It's hard to keep your spirit and your mind positive ... But I'm glad we are catching these curve balls and fixing them, one by one."
On Tuesday, "I was supposed to get my 'chemo cocktail,' but after they did the blood draw they saw a spike in my kidney levels, so they were only able to give me one of the two chemos," she says.
Thanks to an ultrasound the next day, it revealed that there was a tumor blocking her kidneys, which forced excruciating back pain.
"I didn't realize that all the back pain was because of my kidneys" - Brown was admitted to the ER on Thursday.
"They told me there I had complete blockage of my left kidney and 75 percent blockage of my right because of swelling and tumors," she says, "so they had to do a surgery and put in stents so things could flow normally again."
"I woke up from surgery and again amazed by my girlfriends!" she adds of her "IV specialist team," close pals Julie Rotundi and Alicia Quarles - who shared a photo via Instagram.
She is set to leave the hospital this weekend and hopes to inspire others for what she is going through.
