Stephen Collins, who played pastor Eric Camden on the hit show "7th Heaven," is currently being investigated by police after allegedly admitting to child molestation during a therapy session that his ex-wife Faye Grant secretly tape-recorded back in 2012, according to People magazine.

The actor's career has already taken a turn since the allegations surfaced.

Movie executives reportedly fired Stephen Collins from "Ted 2," according to Entertainment Weekly.

"He filmed a bunch of scenes last week. They're cutting all his scenes and now everyone's scrambling to get things re-shot," a source stated.

Stephen Collins also resigned from his position on the National Board of the Screen Actors Guild as news of the allegations surfaced, according to TMZ.

The NYPD's Special Victims Unit is currently investigating allegations that the 67-year-old actor sexually abused one young girl and exposed himself to two others, according to the NY Daily News. Two of the three victims were in Manhattan, a police source reportedly stated.

No charges have been filed against Stephen Collins while the exact dates and locations of the alleged attacks have yet to be revealed.

In the recorded confession, which was acquired by TMZ, Collins is reportedly heard telling his then-wife that he exposed himself to an underage girl in New York several times over a three-year period and also forced the girl to touch his privates.

"There was one moment of touching where her hand, I put her hand on my penis," Collins stated.

The two other underage girls that Collins exposed himself to reportedly lived near him in Los Angeles while another was from New York.

"This is a shock. I found him amazing to work with. He was never more professional. He was a business man, a star, a leader, a team captain. I loved him. He saved the show. He was a go-to guy," a former executive at the WB stated.
