Bethany Mota dancing to the Colbie Caillat's "Try" has brought "Dancing with the Stars" judge Julianne Hough to tears. In fact, it was highly likely that there was not a dry eye in the house after Mota revealed her struggles with bullying. Her rumba performance to Caillait's single was her anti-bullying call.

In a pre-recorded tape, Mota confessed that she used to struggle with bullies while she was growing up. She even mentioned that her own friends even turned on her and bullied her about her physical appearance and her weight when she was only 12 years old.

Mota said, tearfully, "I felt like no one else knew what I was going through. I guess I'll never be confident again, I guess I'll never truly love myself."

The theme of that night's episode was the star's most memorable years. Mota chose the year 2009, when she first posted her video on YouTube, which, eventually, changed her life forever.

While she was dancing a highly emotional rumba with her dance partner, Derek Hough, words were flashing in the huge screen behind them such as, "loser", "fat", "ugly", and "nerd." They ended their dance number perfectly when Mota figuratively pushed away all the negativity and "wrote" on the screen: "I love who I am."

Shortly after Mot and Hough finished their dance, the hashtag, #ILoveWhoIAmBecause became a trending topic on social media.

Julianne Hough told Mota, "What you stand for is so beautiful and what you wish you could have told yourself years ago, you just told so many girls tonight. You are a role model, not only for young girls, but for women, for mothers, for everybody. I think to love yourself is so important. I love what you stand for."

Although the message that Mota was sending was heartwarming, her routine with Derek Hough did not contain much rumba. The three judges gave them 8's, but America, the guest judge for this week, gave them a 9, resulting to a total score of 33.
