Gennady Golovkin's next fight will end via knockout to mark "GGG's" 18th straight in his career, according to coach Abel Sanchez. The reigining WBA and IBO middleweight champion however, dedicates his California debut bout to his fans.

Gennady Golovkin's next fight will be against Mexico's Marco Antonio Rubio on October 18th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. "GGG" will be defending both of his titles, while Rubio will be putting his WBC interim title on the line.

Golovkin holds an impressive record so far, as he banners an immaculate 30-0, with 27 of those victories ending via knockout. The hard-punching Kazakh is also on a knockout streak, winning his last 17 fights in such fashion.

This dominant performance is no news for "GGG's" camp, as his coach Abel Sanchez even predicts another knockout victory for Gennady Golovkin's next fight, marking the 18th consecutive KO victory for his fighter.

"I believe that the first round, as we've shown and we've made sure that he practices this, we go out and we see what we have in front of us and we see what our strategies are going to be," Sanchez told RingTV. "By the first round, he's got them figured out. So I believe that Rubio will end up the same way as everybody else does against Golovkin."

Sanchez was also confident enough to compare his fighter to former heavyweight champion "Iron" Mike Tyson, who is also known for finishing his opponents in such brutal fashion.

"As I've said in the past, once Golovkin touches somebody, it doesn't matter where it is in the fight," Sanchez claimed. "It's like Mike Tyson used to say: once he touches somebody, their game plan goes out the window."

Meanwhile, Gennady Golovkin promised a great fight for his fans, as he makes his boxing debut in California soil.

"So this fight against Marco Antonio Rubio is a gift to all my fans here in Southern California, everyone who kept asking about fighting here and have been so supportive," Golovkin said in a report by Bad Left Hook. "I'm very happy to be fighting on October 18th at the StubHub Center and promise a great show to those in attendance and those watching at home on HBO."
