Good news DC and gaming fans as the plot details for the Harley Quinn DLC for Batman Arkham Knight have been revealed.
According to the reports from gaming website Cyberland, the PS4 version of Batman Arkham Knight will be home to exclusive content such as the playable Deathstroke campaign and the Christian Bale "Dark Knight" Batsuit. The Harley Quinn campaign however, will be available on PC and Xbox One.
The website further reports that the Harley Quinn DLC will focus on Harley Quinn hunting down Ra's Al Ghul in hopes of convincing him to revive Joker from the dead. If we remember correctly the Joker died in Arkham City as Harley Quinn blaims Batman for his death which led to the "Harley Quinn's Revenge" campaign.
Rocksteady has officially stated that Joker is dead as of the ending in Arkham City, however they continued to say that the story of Arkham knight is how would Gotham be if the Joker is gone. They continued to say that Joker is going to be referenced left and right though out the game.
It has been rumored that Joker will make an appearance via Flash backs and through a "dream sequence" when Batman gets intoxicated by Scarecrow's fear toxin.
It was reported before that the identity of the new character Arkham Knight has been leaked as online. Gameranx has reported that someone from the forum website 4chan claiming to have a non-disclosure agreement Warner Bros. leaked the possible plot details of the game revealed that Arkham Knight is a clone of Batman created by Amanda Waller.
Meanwhile, there have been reports that a PC demo and multiplayer gameplay for the game have been leaked in the steamdb.
According to reports to reports from Gameranx, YouTube user name CabooseXBL has posted a video explaining that players are playing Batman: Arkham Knight in Steam live and point out two possible reason for it.
First is that someone managed to hack into Steam and found a way to play an incomplete version of the game. The other reason being that this is actually one of Rocksteady Studios’ developers working on the game live.
For more information here is the video below.
As for the multiplayer gameplay, Gameranx posted photos and graphs of three players playing the game.
This has led to a speculation that the new Batman game will have a multiplayer mode similar to Arkham Origin. So far, Rocksteady hasn't made any comments on the leaked PC Demo and Multiplayer gameplay for Arkham Knight.
Batman: Arkham Knight will released on June 2, 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and for the PC.
