Chef Gordon Ramsay's London restaurant will be closing later this week, and the news followed almost right after the "Kitchen Nightmares" star was accused of sexual harassment.

According to a report from Eater.com, "Gordon Ramsay at The London" restaurant will be closing after it opened to high expectations back in 2006. The high-end restaurant was initially given two Michelin stars.

With Chef Gordon Ramsay's restaurant closing, a rep for the hotel explained that they are doing so "to reflect the more casual dining style preferred by the guests."

"They really are demanding more of a casual dining setting, more of a casual dining scene," said hotel rep Amanda Duff, reported by Eater.com.

The report added that the culinary master turned TV personality's other establishments within the hotel - such as Maze by Gordon Ramsay and The London Bar - will remain open.

However, Chef Gordon Ramsay's team has blasted the hotel for the restaurant's unexpected closing.

The chef's rep told New York Daily News: "We are heavily involved with all our restaurants and partners around the world with the exception of The London, who unfortunately rarely cooperate or communicate with us."

The spokesperson added: "It's disappointing that they have taken this decision but we believe the dining experience they've been offering lately has not been the standard expected by us or our customers when they dine at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant."

"As always, the door remains open for them to engage with us in a meaningful way," the statement ended, reported by New York Daily News.

Just recently, a report from Ktar News said Chef Gordon Ramsay is being accused by former "Kitchen Nightmares" guests Amy and Samy Bouzaglo of Amy's Baking Company of sexual harassment. The incident allegedly occurred during their gig for the said Fox reality competition.

The accuser's husband, Samy Bouzaglo, said the Master Chef "sexually harassed (his) wife in the kitchen."

"He tried to sexually harass my wife and accused me of stealing the tip," he revealed.

According to Ktar News, Amy Bouzaglo does not want to go into the details of the alleged sexual harassment. She said: "I don't want to talk about him, to tell you the truth. I think it's best we move on from that."

"It was 18 months ago," her husband agreed. "I think it's time to forget about Gordon Ramsay and move forward."

A rep for Chef Gordon Ramsay from "Kitchen Nightmares" sent an official statement about the matter. The statement read: "The owners of Amy's Baking Company continue to make baseless and inflammatory comments. These ridiculous accusations are completely untrue."
