As the production of "Mission Impossible 5" progresses, new actors are introduced to the fans. We all know that the original team of Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames are returning for the sequel so that basically is enough to make their followers watch the fifth installment. However, it will be an icing on the cake if we see new faces in the film - and those who are really good in their craft.
A few days ago, there have been reports that British actor Simon McBurney will be joining "Mission: Impossible 5". According to Variety, the star of "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" was in negotiations to join the cast MI5. The website's sources revealed that the 57-year old actor will play the boss of Rebecca Ferguson's character in the film.
McBurney recently appeared in Woody Allen's romantic comedy "Magic in the Moonlight". You can see him next at the British bio-pic "The Theory of Everything" in November 2014. It looked like the actor has accepted the role in "Mission Impossible 5" because the director mentioned his name on Twitter.
Christopher McQuarrie posted a photo of a man in suit, but only the body was visible. He captioned the picture, "And Simon McBurney" so that confirms that the actor is now part of the MI5 team. Apart from the English theatre director, another actress will also be joining the cast.
Variety reported that Chinese superstar Zhang Jingchu will have a major role in "Mission: Impossible 5". The 34-year old actress is not new in Hollywood as she have appeared in the action comedy "Rush Hour 3" back in 2007. You may remember Jingchu by the name of Soo Yung - and her character was the one being protected by Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.
According to the website, the Chinese actress' role is supposedly being kept secret as it is integral to a major plot twist. Will she become Tom Cruise's new love interest? It is possible and we may even see a catfight between Rebecca Ferguson and Zhang Jingchu in "Mission Impossible 5".
