According to Hollywood Reporter, "The Lego" movie spin-offs are Ninjago and Batman.
"The Lego" movie spin-off "Ninjago: is set to be released in Sept. 23, 2016, while the "Lego Movie: Batman" is confirmed for a 2017 release date.
Since there will be a spin-off movie focusing on Batman, who is also known as the Caped Crusader or Dark Knight in the previous movie of "Lego", Will Arnett will be reprising his voice acting role for the Dark Knight.
According to the publication, the character of Batman was one of the highlights of the first installment of "The Lego" movie. Arnett took Christian Bale's gravely voice in a too extreme way, making the character arrogant, dark, sarcastic and just too-cool-for-this-adventure.
Chris Mckay (the director of the first installment) confirmed to direct again the next movie.
The Verge supported the news of the two spin-off movies. According to the source, 'Lego Batman' is currently in the works, Currently, the script is being written by Seth Grahame-Smith.
Screen Rant reported that Seth Grahame-Smith is a storyteller with an offbeat sense of humor which matched with McKay's. Accordingly, there are chances that Grahame-Smith won't end up being the sole writer on the LEGO Batman screenplay.
