The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently in Brazil for a basketball game against Miami Heat. Coincidentally, the next Olympic Games will also be held in the same country two years from now.
It is because of this that media fuzzed whether the sands and sun had convinced the NBA star to come back and play in the Rio Olympics.
According to the 4-time MVP, it is still too soon to decide and he still has a couple of years to think of thing是 before making his decision.
He said "I'm undecided. It's not until 2016. I got two years. I got a long time."
James together with two of his two Cavalier teammates namely Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving were given the opportunity to be picked in a national pool that will be used to select the 2016 men's team for the United States. The team has won gold at the last two Olympics and in five of the last six.
On the same note, Irving won't be able to play with his new team right after spraining his ankle but if he decides to play in Rio for the Olympics, it will be his first time to do so and for he says "Obviously to be in the pool of guys is a great honor."
On the other hand, Love has won the gold two years ago in London and knew how exciting it must feels that's why he says he wants to do it again.
He said "Playing for my country has done a lot of things for my career. It has afforded me a great opportunity to get better. Wearing the USA across the chest was a great way to feel patriotic. I hope that I have another chance in 2016 to be here."
On the other side of the bench, Miami Heat's Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade have played and won for the team in 2008. This time around, they were left out of the pool and had said that it is now the right time for other players to take their shot at the Olympics.
Bosh says "I've done it and I want other guys to experience it. Trying to chase that experience I had in '08 - I'm not going to be able to fulfill that. I was a younger guy and I was single and I had a lot more time."
While Wade said that training and playing with the Olympic team after a full NBA season is a young man's job.
