What would be Oliver Queen's next move? Prior to Team Arrow's successful dense of Starling City from the band of mirakuru-powered warriors and Slade Wilson. Furthermore, how would Arrow react to what was basically a happy ending, filled with assurance of better days in the future. What form of conflicts requires to be discussed after the hero becomes a hero?
In entire episode of The Calm, Oliver Green and Arrow are reacting to those issues as things start with stolen weapons and a rousing pursuit of a semi-filled visual appeal of the show is constantly progressing, the confrontation is a fast affair, one that creates how Team Arrow works like a well-oiled machine. Dressed in his snappy red duds, Roy Harper helps out, the first sequence also lets off a sense that everything is as they should be, Arrow on the side of thing, at least.
It makes an interesting issue as to where Oliver starts and the Arrow concludes, but more of than not, Oliver's issues with identity show he is a textbook sample of the oft-used premise that, when it comes heroes or superheroes, the civilian identification is a top secret, and the covered persona is his or her true identity. Oliver had been in Starling City's defender and has been successful doing it. However, in a way, the costume he wears on his journey to save the city, does more than symbolizes his ideals. It also serves as a containment tool to protect him from the trauma of losing those near him, as he did when his mother was killed by Slade, and when their relationship was destroyed by the truth about Thea's father.
It's truly startling and shocking the way the season premiere caps off. Apparently, killing of a well-liked and established character, Sara, is more than just a stunning value, it gives importance to the decisions of Oliver in the entire episode, implying an unbalance life will only take the lead to heartache and an empty ending for those left waiting. The event surely shows the calm period is done, and Team Arrow should prepare for the upcoming storm.
