"Bill And Ted 3" is confirmed in the works! However, the title is not yet finalized, alongside the script. It's not yet clear if the main protagonists will reprise their roles.

The first installment of "Bill And Ted" movie premiered on February 17, 1989. Then, it was followed-up by a sequel titled "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey," which was released in 1991.

As of the moment, no release date has been announced.

Alex Winter has talked about the sequel of this movie. He said:

"Bill & Ted will be 40-something and it's all about Bill and Ted grown up, or not grown up," - "It's really sweet and really f--ing funny, but it's a Bill & Ted movie, that's what it is. It's for the fans of Bill & Ted. It fits very neatly in the [series]. It's not going to feel like a reboot. The conceit is really funny: What if you're middle-aged, haven't really grown up and you're supposed to have saved the world and maybe, just maybe, you kinda haven't?. There's many versions of ourselves in this movie. What happened to these guys?' They're supposed to have done all this stuff, they weren't the brightest bulbs on the tree, what happened 20 years later? To answer that question in a comedic way felt rich with possibility."

Meanwhile, his co-star, "Matrix" actor, Keanu Reeves was rumored to appear in upcoming "Doctor Strange" film. According to Cinema Blend, the actor has no idea about the story of this upcoming movie.

"I didn't know Doctor Strange as a character, I didn't read that as a kid. I'm gonna have to read it," Reeves said.

Morever, Reeves has been interviewed by Cinema Blend. He said:

"It didn't help that the first script that they brought in was probably budgeted at $150 million dollars. I don't know if Bill & Ted carry that much weight. Part of the argument is that it's not that popular internationally, that's where so much of the funding for movies comes from these days. They've worked on the script and the budget, just trying to get the right script and then get the business side wrapped up, financiers and rights, all the show business stuff."
