It was the game that everyone was talking about. The match that people are looking forward to, not only for the game but also for the reaction of many, not just the audience but also the players as well.
The Cleveland Cavaliers faced the Miami Heat in a preseason game for the NBA. The Cavaliers ended the game with a 122-119 final score right after the overtime.
LeBron James was able to score seven points while playing for only 20 minutes with his new team mates. While newly acquired Kevin Love was able to get 25 points for the Cavaliers.
On the other side of the court, Chris Bosh accumulated 19 points for the Heats. While former team mates, James and Bosh appeared indifferent during their first meet after the transfer. Both players hook their hands without making eye contact.
He says that it was tough playing against a former team mate but it was the right time to move on saying "We are here to improve our team, to get better, and he is doing the same thing. I'm glad we could get that out of the way and move on."
The next game between both team will happen in Dec 25 and this is going to be a crucial one as they are off to face each other during the regular season of the NBA.
On the other hand, the NBA has been raking reviews and generating income for the league. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said "Who knows where this league will be 20, 25 years from now. In the last six years since I've been the head coach we've been to England, France, China and Rio with tremendous experiences. Whether or not that happens on a regular basis - in the regular season - I don't know."
Aside from LeBron James, whoa according to Forbes, surpassed Tiger Woods as the most marketable athlete in the world, Dwyane Wade is also boosting the profile of the league.
Wade said "The NBA has done an unbelievable job of growing the game - the players as well - of making this game global. We all benefit from it."
