The latest Cleveland Cavaliers roster, news and rumors reveal that Lebron James and Kyrie Irving might sit out some of the pre-season games as they are still recovering from their respective injuries. Meanwhile, its recent game against the Miami Heat proved that the squad is not relying too much on the MVP to win.
Terry Pluto of The Plain Dealer wrote, per Cleveland.com -which dishes out on the latest Cleveland Cavaliers roster, news and rumors-that the shot weren't falling for Lebron James so he spent most of the game passing and recording eight assists in the process.
"In the first two preseason games, he is shooting 6-of-19. Not sure what that's about, but his outside shot seems very flat and a bit of line drive right now," he wrote.
On the other hand, burly forward Kevin Love's shots were swishing the net left and right.
"In the first half, Kevin Love threw in a 25-footer from the wing as if it were a free throw. Then he swished a 3-pointer from the corner. He made a couple of short hooks from the low post with his right hand. He made a left-handed layup. Love is such a skilled scorer with so many ways to put the ball in the basket," he added.
Meanwhile, the Ohio revealed Cleveland Cavaliers roster, news and rumors as it said that Lebron James and Kyrie Irving will sit out some of the games in the preseason.
"Kyrie Irving may miss Tuesday's home exhibition against the Milwaukee Bucks and Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers in Cincinnati as he continues to rehab a sprained ankle," the article noted. "LeBron James is leaning towards taking one of the back-to-back games off, but isn't sure which one."
Lebron James told the site, "I'm going to talk with coach and go from there. They've been managing it pretty good. I'm feeling pretty good right now and I want to continue that."
