Karrueche Tran will reportedly start appearing in movies. According to a report from Singersroom.com , Chris Brown's girlfriend is set to kick off her film career with a project entitled "Fright Night Files".
The model-host's acting debut will be for a TV One made-for-television film in time for Halloween.
"Fright Night Files" reportedly consists of three short films. Karrueche Tran's venture into movies will have her in the film's third and final short, entitled "Mirror Mirror".
According to Singersroom.com, the project is the first scripted production for Cathy Hughes, who is the founder and chairperson of Radio One Inc. Susan Banks and Russ Parr are also producing the film, whilch will premiere on October 18.
Prior to Karreuche Tran getting into movies, she and Chris Brown have been dating for five years.
Recently, the "Turn Up The Music" singer has finally spoken up regarding allegations that his model girlfriend is just using him to advance her career.
Hollywood Life has previously reported that the R&B singer has had relationship trust issues in the past. Chris Brown has been dating Karrueche Tran on-and-off following a highly publicized relationship with pop superstar, Rihanna, whom he was with back in 2009.
Karrueche Tran, an aspiring model and singer, has also been slammed by bashers and called a golddigger for allegedly just using Chris Brown's celebrity status to make herself popular.
Now, Chris Brown is reportedly happily dating Karrueche Tran without letting doubts get in the way. A source close to the 25-year-old singer told Hollywood Life: "If she's happy, he's happy".
The source added, describing Chris Brown's girlfriend: "She's living her dreams and he's just glad he was able to have the connects and put her up on game. He has trust issues but he sees this as an opportunity for her to work and make her own money."
The Hollywood Life report also wrote about how Karrueche Tran's hosting gig at BET's "106 & Park":
"Just because (Chris) got (Karrueche) in the door at BET, doesn't mean it's a cake walk for her".
The source added: "He basically put her in the driver's seat but it's up to her to move the car forward. He's cool with it though."
