Keanu Reeves new movie "John Wick" release date is set for October 24, 2014.

"Matrix" actor will play the role of a retired hitman. He takes revenge to a group who killed his dog. Watch the trailer below:

As you can see in the video, Reeves is killing each people who killed his dog. According to Wikipedia, the people who killed his dog are related to his previous employer. The action film is directed by David Leitch. Others casts are Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen, Adrianne Palicki, Bridget Moynahan, Dean Winters, Jason Isaacs, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo and Willem Dafoe.

Willem Defoe and Keanu started filming several scenes in New York City last December 1, 2013. On December 15th, they were filming at the City Hall Library at 31 Chambers Street in New York City.

Meanwhile, "Bill And Ted 3," a sequel of "Matrix" actor's 1989 flick has been confirmed in the works! However, there's no solid confirmation yet if the original protagonists will reprise their roles.

Reeves is also rumored to appear in upcoming "Doctor Strange". However, in an article of Cinema Blend, the actor said:

"I didn't know Doctor Strange as a character, I didn't read that as a kid. I'm gonna have to read it," Reeves said.


In an interview of CB with Keanu related to "Bill And Ted" sequel, the actor stated:

"It didn't help that the first script that they brought in was probably budgeted at $150 million dollars. I don't know if Bill & Ted carry that much weight. Part of the argument is that it's not that popular internationally, that's where so much of the funding for movies comes from these days. They've worked on the script and the budget, just trying to get the right script and then get the business side wrapped up, financiers and rights, all the show business stuff."
