Apple made a rather unusual mistake today.
The company accidentally leaked details of the new iPads that were expected to be announced on Thursday during a press event, according to the media outlet PC World.
The screenshots of the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3 reportedly show that the iPads are similar in design to the previous models and use the iOS 8 system. However, the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3 will reportedly have the TouchID fingerprint sensor, which the iPhone 5 as well as the new iPhone 6 have.
The details that were leaked also show that the iPad Air 2 will feature the Burst Mode, which allows users to take "rapid-fire" photos, according to the publication CNet. The iPad Air 2 will also reportedly get an upgrade to the A8 processor, which were introduced in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The chip is reportedly much faster and more power-efficient than the A7 chip.
Other than the newest details of the iPads, Apple is reportedly expected to announce new Macs and as well as specifics regarding its OS X Yosemite operating system at the upcoming event in Cupertino, California tomorrow.
