Selena Gomez was recently interviewed by Ellen DeGeneres, and it looks like it was a very crazy year for the "Come and Get It" singer.

She started this year with a bang by checking herself into rehab back in January for a reason that has not been disclosed. Plus, she has also been in an on-and-off again whirlwind relationship with "Beauty and the Beat" singer Justin Bieber.

Selena Gomez has starred in some sexually suggestive movies, such as "Springbreakers" and "Behaving Badly," which was why her fans were a bit worried on how she would act on her interview with DeGeneres on Monday. Plus, the time that she spent dating the internationally famous social irritant did not help her sexualized image at all.

When the 56-year-old talk show host asked Gomez about how she would rate herself, she only replied, "I'm a seven. I feel like I have been doing this for so long that people are, like, 'Be yourself, be yourself' and I'm still trying to figure out who that is."

The "Who Says" singer then added, "I know I'm not perfect, but I know that I have a lot of people that support me and love me. I don't want to let anyone down. So, I just try to be the best I can be. It's awkward being 20."

Also, she made some pretty major life changes this year. She decided to fire her mother, Mandy Teefey, and her stepfather, Brian Teefey, as her managers in April. She replaced them with Bradford Cobb, who is also the manager of Katy Perry.

Apart from the changes she applied to her career, she also moved into her own house in Los Angeles with a close friend of hers from her hometown in Texas.

"It's good. Yeah, I can walk around naked now and stuff," Selena Gomez joked about having her own space now. "Honestly, I just enjoy not being able to have to check in all the time. My mom is the sweetest ever. So, even now, she checks in on me."
