Jessie J, contrary to the negative things that other people whom Ariana Grande has worked with have been saying, the "Break Free" singer is not really a diva. It could all be just a simple misunderstanding.
The 26-year-old "Domino" song-maker went to Grande's defense, and told Us Weekly that Grande is not a diva, but that she only knows "what she wants."
Two stars got the opportunity to work with one another, alongside rapper Nicki Minaj in the hit single, "Bang, Bang." The three of them even performed the song at the MTV Video Music Awards last August.
Although Jessie J only got to work with Ariana Grande quite recently, she claims that she fully understands the position that the young pop icon has been placed in. She said, "I always say, 'Judge a person when you meet them.' I've met Ariana and there's a very thin line between 'diva' and 'survival.' And a lot of people can't differentiate that. And I've had that."
The British star also mentioned that people often mistake passion for acting like a diva. "I've had the diva stuff. And it's when people can't cope with how passionate you are, and how much you care."
For the past couple of months, Ariana Grande's reputation has slowly been developing into a bad one due to the numerous claims that she is very tough to work with and that she was far too high-maintenance. Page Six even recently ran a report that the life coach she was working with decided to quit because of Grande's bad and vain behavior.
According to the report, it was the life coach's responsibility to keep Ariana Grande focused and healthy, but then decided to walk off the job a couple of months ago because he just could not handle the pop star's attitude.
