"Green Lantern 2" update: "R.I.P.D." actor, Ryan Reynolds, is not actually sure if he will reprise his role as Hal Jordan or "Green Lantern."

Previously, Warner Bros. studio announced that "Green Lantern 2" will be darker and edgier. However, as per Screen Rant updated news, the publication said : "Reynolds isn't so sure he'll be reprising his turn as daredevil test pilot-turned-intergalactic defender of justice, Hal Jordan."

The publication also cited the interview of MTV with Reynolds. The actor told MTV:

"I have no idea, that's not up to me. I don't write those checks. And if I did I certainly wouldn't be standing on a red carpet, I would be sunning myself somewhere... There are infinite [possibilities for a Green Lantern sequel]. 70 years of history there, you could go anywhere."

The publication also added that aside from 'Green Lantern 2", Reynolds might get "Deadpool" role. The actor is still hopeful about getting the role of Wade Wilson onscreen. However, he doesn't know whether he'll be reprising Hal Jordan role.

Meanwhile, the fresh news from Deadline says Warner Bros. has revealed their DC superhero blockbuster plan in a shareholder meeting last Wednesday morning. The company announced their ten tentpoles for 2020.

The biggest projects of WB will be led off by Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice." Additionally, the DC cinematic universe will continue with "Suicide Squad", which is directed by David Ayer and to be premiered in 2016. "Wonder Woman" flick, stars by Gal Gadot, will be premiered next year.
