Kesha Never Reported Dr. Luke Because Of Stockholm-Type Syndrome?

Singer Kesha filed a lawsuit against her longtime producer Dr. Luke earlier this week, reportedly accusing him of being "sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally" abusive, according to the media outlet Idolator.

Questions have risen about why Kesha hadn't reported Dr. Luke to the cops earlier as the "Warrior" singer had reportedly claimed to have been "abused" for 10 years. Sources for TMZ have reportedly stated that the star suffered from a Stockholm-type syndrome, which prevented her from going to the cops.

The entertainment website has reported that Kesha told her doctors about her situation with Dr. Luke during her stay in rehab back in January. Sources connected to Kesha's lawsuit reportedly claimed that the doctors have kept the notes, which will be used as evidence towards the case.

Dr. Luke's rep reportedly slammed the claims.

"That's preposterous. Just because someone says something to a doctor doesn't mean they weren't fabricated or part of an overall pre-planned campaign. Her statements are false. It is important to note that these are just the latest in a series of bizarre public statements and actions by Kesha and her mother over the years, including Kesha's claim her vagina is 'haunted,' her drinking her own urine on her reality show, and her mother dressing up as a penis on the television show," the rep stated.

Kesha's mom, Pebe Sebert, had reportedly sent Dr. Luke an email a year ago alleging that the music producer raped her daughter. However, the allegations were reportedly threatened to be made public in connection to music publishing rights that might not have been given to Sebert, according to TMZ.

"We, me and Kesha and her friends, like Lady Gaga, are going to make all of this Really PUBLIC, in the next few days. Luke date raped Kesha when she was 18. Nicky Hilton's birthday? Paris Hilton's house? Luke gave Kesha pills. She ended up naked in his hotel room 2 days later. No longer a virgin?," the email reads.

It concludes with, "Do we all want this to come out? Either Luke releases Kesha from all legal contracts, and gives me back all my publishing, or we, Kesha and I, tell the truth."
