Ebola Halloween Costume To Go 'Viral'; Spurs 'Horror Or Humor' Twitter Debate?

According to reports on the best new outfits for this year's Halloween, the Ebola Halloween costume is to go viral this Halloween with more than 30,000 people discussing the topic on social media. The opinions are divided on whether the Ebola themed costume is 'the hot idea' for Halloween 2014 or one that shows how the social fabric and values of American society is decreasing.

One costume by Brands On Sale, Inc. is a hazmat costume that comes with a respirator. Some reports say that Halloween is a holiday that brings out pop culture controversy, suggesting that Ebola could be the Ebola virus, with costumes covering a myriad of scary wearable gear and Ebola zomby-lookalikes to get a handle on this overarching health problem that just might affect the U.S. after 5 patients have been treated for the case. One patient has been confirmed dead.

The Ebola Containment suit as the Ebola Halloween Costume is called, comes with the Ebola White Costume Suit, Breathing Mask, Ebola Face Shield, Safety Eye Goggles, Blue Latex Gloves, but the snow boots are not included in the package. And one comment on Twitter said, "@BBCtrending Horror: for that price it should include the boots.

VP of Brands On Sale, Johnathon Weeks said they have sold about 25 Ebola Halloween Costume suits already and are expected to sell thousands more by the end of October. Weeks explained the perception of the Ebola suit in a BBC News report saying, "This is an Ebola containment healthcare worker costume; it's not the Ebola disease costume; it's not an Ebola victim costume," says Mr Weeks. "It's no different in my eyes than what a firefighter costume would be, or doctors and nurses costume. Those people save lives every day, just like these people are."
