"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" is just half a year away to finally hit the big screen, but many are already talking about "The Avengers 3". It is also rumored that a main character in the Avengers team won't appear in the third instalment.
Captain America, and perhaps Thor as well, might not appear in the third sequel, as posted on Badass Digest, but instead would focus on new characters like Ant-Man, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Doctor Strange. There was also a rumor that the Guardians of the Galaxy might be also included in the roster.
It was also said that Iron Man would appear in "Captain America 3" and that the plot might be leading to the "Civil War" story. Then, we might see the complete main characters in the "Avengers 4" instead of the third sequel. Joe and Anthony Russo might helm the films.
On CinemaBlend, it released possible Marvel characters that might be included in the "Avengers 3".
She-Hulk may be in the film, and Aubrey Plaza could be the first on the list to play the role considering she said her interest in to be Bruce Banner's cousin, Jennifer Walters in the film.
Plaza said on CinemaBlend, "She-Hulk? Oh my god, I would love to be She-Hulk. Because I had super-strength? Yes, I want to be She-Hulk. Write that movie and I'll do it. I would love to be any kind of superhero or person with super-strength."
The standalone film "Doctor Strange" has been creating noise, and Colin Farrell and Keanu Reeves are the top candidates to play the role of the brilliant but egotistic neurosurgeon comic character. This is possible since Marvel Studios is said to be working on the script for the film that might hit theaters in 2016. Perhaps, the film is part of the preparation for the "Avengers 3".
If the story of the third sequel to "Avengers" is "Civil War", then Ms. Marvel should be in the character list as she is the one that could keep the team in line.
And of course, our webslinging friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. However, Marvel Studios has to discuss it with Sony for a crossover so that Peter Parker can legally appear on the "Avengers 3".
