Portia de Rossi baby rumors have always been circulating around the couple. However, the "Scandal" actress has confirmed that it was just "one big rumor that doesn't seem to go away."
The beautiful Portia de Rossi feels like her fans and Ellen's are pushing her and Ellen DeGeneres to start a family. Jimmy Kimmel mentioned the constant baby-making rumors between de Rossi and DeGeneres. He asked his guest, point-blank, if she and Ellen have any plans of having a baby. He said, "Is there anything to that?"
"At this point, I feel like I'm disappointing the whole of America, not just my mother. You know?" the actress said during her appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday.
She then added, "It's true. The tabloids are at me. My mother's at me." It looks like the couple is being pressured on all side to have a baby, but it would seem that neither of them actually want to become a mother. However, they do adore their two young nieces and treasure their roles as aunts to the little kids.
The 41-year-old Portia de Rossi said, "They're adorable and we love them and we play with them, and then we leave. My brother's way too smart to leave me alone with his children! It's supervised play, Jimmy."
She may love her nieces, but their eldest niece seems to like hanging out with her Aunt Ellen more. The "Arrested Development" actress believes that, soon enough, the younger niece will follow suit. She believes that this is because "there are a lot of perks" to having the famous talk show host as an aunt.
"There's free stuff. There's meet the pop star whom she wants to meet, 12 days of giveaways, obviously," Portia de Rossi told Kimmel. "Yeah, she's a pretty good aunt to have!"
