Kesha has recently claimed that known producer, Dr. Luke, physically abused and sexually assaulted her. The singer started to tell her doctors about her experiences with the said producer while she was in rehab because of a certain eating disorder.
Reportedly, Kesha went to rehab in January to treat her eating disorder. However, apart from the treatment that she got, she also "spontaneously" opened up about Dr. Luke, about how he drugged her, sexually abused her, and physically assaulted her. Sources stated that the doctors to whom the pop star opened up to had actually kept notes of her statements, which will be used as evidence in the lawsuit that she filed.
Kesha did not go to the cops to report what was allegedly done to her because she has a Stockholm-type syndrome. She had been with him for over eight years at the time that she abuse was done, and she did not have any "free will."
However, Dr. Luke has claimed that Kesha, together with her mother, Pebe Sebert, were only trying to extort him. The producer revealed an email, which was allegedly from Sebert, which is filled with threats to unleash a string of information, unless he agrees to release the former "Rising Star" judge from her contracts and give Sebert all rights to her music.
The lawyer that Dr. Luke hired, Christine Lepera, has also claimed that there was another email that Sebert wrote on October 29th of last year.
"Tomorrow I am going to start making public how Dr. Luke blackmailed me into giving him and Circuit publishing credit, on all songs I wrote on Warrior, with Kesha and other writers and producers. We, me and Kesha and her friends are going to make all of the really PUBLIC in the next few days," Kesha's mother wrote in the email.
It continued, "Luke date raped Kesha when she was 18. Nicky Hilton's birthday? Paris Hilton's house? Luke gave Kesha pills? She ended up naked in his hotel room 2 days later, no longer a virgin? Do we want all this to come out?"
Kesha's mother then allegedly threatened, "Either this Luke releases Kesha form all legal contracts and gives me back all my publishing, or we, Kesha and I, tell the truth. And if I wind up dead, TRUST ME, IT'S IN WRITING TO CALL YOU AND LUKE."
