Nicki Minaj shocked the world with her sexiness and all around intensity in her music video for the hit track "Anaconda."
Despite all the buzz, controversy and whatnot surrounding "Anaconda," Nicki Minaj reportedly doesn't really find the video to be anything special.
"I just see the video as being a normal video," stated the "Super Bass" rapper during an interview for November GQ, according to Star Pulse.
She continued "I think the video is about what girls do. Girls love being with other girls, and when you go back to us being younger, we would have slumber parties and we'd be dancing with our friends."
To Nicki Minaj, her character in the video isn't really that bizarre either.
"She is just talking about two guys that she dated in the past and what they're good at and what they bought her and what they said to her. It's just cheeky, like a funny story," stated Minaj.
Although people either secretly fell in love with Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" music video or made their appreciation for the clip very public, fans need to note that the 31-year-old Queens native might be ready to turn a new leaf.
"I always thought that by the time I put out a third album, I would want to come back to natural hair and natural makeup. I thought, 'I will shock the world again and just be more toned down.' I thought that would be more shocking than to keep on doing exactly what they had already seen," explained the Grammy-nominated musician.
Despite her ongoing success, Nicki Minaj will never forget her days working in costumer service before she became a hip-hop sensation. During her recent interview, she revealed that she was once fired from a waitressing gig at Red Lobster and held the title of customer-service rep for a company in NYC as well, according to Us Magazine.
"I like dealing with people, but I don't really like a lot of bulls-t, so maybe customer service wasn't the best job for me," Minaj stated.
