The latest "Avengers 2" spoilers came from witnesses who claimed that they have seen the official trailer during the San Diego Comic Con and at the recent New York City Comic Con. "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" is scheduled for release on May 1, 2015. Basically that's seven months away until the big day and the only footages that we've seen were taken during their filming in various locations.

According to Cinema Blend, the storyline of the "Avengers" 2 focuses on the battle between the Avengers and the A.I. robot Ultron. Many people thought that Thanos will be the villain in the second sequel because his purple alien smirk was shown in the mid-credits scene of the first movie. However, it seems that the Mad Titan will have to sit back before he goes on a showdown with the Earth's Mightiest Heroes in "Avengers 3".

Thanos, which was voiced by Josh Brolin, appeared next in "Guardians of the Galaxy". Because of the villain's cameos, there are rumors coming out that Marvel is planning something big for him in the future. Are you ready to hear more "Avengers 2" spoilers? Cinema Blend also reported that a Civil War storyline could be seen in "Avengers 3" and "Captain America 3".

Source says, "There is a rumour that Avengers 3 would be split in two movies, so Thanos may appear as a full-fledged villain in Avengers 3." To website further explained the role of Thanos: "His goal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the same as in the comics which is to collect all the Infinity Stones (Gems in the comics) and put them in the Infinity Gauntlet."

CB continued, "So far we've seen three stones in the MCU. There was the Tesseract, which was featured prominently in Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers, the Aether in Thor: The Dark World and the Power Stone in Guardians of the Galaxy. As witnessed, the Stones are powerful enough by themselves, but when all six are inserted into the Infinity Gauntlet, the user gains unlimited power...or at least near-unlimited."

It is still unclear yet as to when we will see Thanos - either in "Avengers 3" or "Avengers 4", but one thing is for sure - he is the man to beat. Because of his strength, the Avengers may even seek help from the Guardians of the Galaxy. That will be the ultimate showdown!
